Event Flyer
The Safety Competition, also known as "Roadeo," is limited to the first 125 entries on a first-come, first-served basis. It is open to all contractor and school district drivers with employer approval and verification.
The event begins with a written test. Then, contestants get behind the wheel of a bus to put their driving skills to the test, competing in one of three categories – convention, transit, and small bus. Drivers can demonstrate their professionalism, skill, and dedication to pupil transportation throughout the competition. The event concludes with an Awards Ceremony announcing the competition winners.
EMPLOYER VERIFICATION & DRIVER REGISTRATION
Once the employer completes the Employer Application to confirm the driver's eligibility and their registration fee is paid, an email will be sent to the driver and employer confirming their participation.
FOOD | Breakfast, Lunch, and Beverages will be available. No onsite orders and no refunds.
- Drivers and volunteers receive complimentary food wristbands.
- Spectators - Family, Friends, and Co-workers (non-volunteers) must purchase food wristbands in advance.
- Employers can purchase extra food wristbands on the verification and driver registration application or separately.

VOLUNTEERS
- If you know someone interested in volunteering, please have them visit nysbca.com/roadeo and click on the "Volunteer" button to sign up. Volunteers receive a complimentary t-shirt and food wristband.
CANCELLATIONS
No refunds for cancellations or no-shows for driver registrations or food orders. Thank you for your donation to the Roadeo.
